FAQs

PG (propylene glycol) and VG (vegetable glycerol) are ingredients in e-liquid which create the vapor. Both are non-toxic widely used in a variety of products for human consumption (including ketchup!)

  • PG has less visible vapor and a slightly stronger throat hit than VG. It is also a thinner liquid, which can leak out of tanks if it is dominant. This is why we only offer VG dominant liquid.
  • VG produces more smoke.

We offer the ratios 80VG / 20PG and 60VG / 40PG, as these are optimum ratios, providing the benefits of both – a nice throat hit, good flavour as well as loads of vapor production.

Vapers are divided about which they prefer, so we suggest you do some research of your own, or try one of each. Either will be suitable, but you will probably have a favourite!

Our juice has a PG / VG base, nicotine (optional) and food grade flavourings.

Our liquid is thoroughly tested to ensure it is safe, compliant and tasty.

Our courier pickups are approximately 10:30am and 4:30pm. Our operating hours are 8:30am-6:00pm.

  • If your order is placed between 3:30pm and 9:30am, your order will be picked up the same day at 10:30am.
  • If your order is placed between 9:30am and 3:30pm, your order will be picked up the same day at 4:30pm.

Vape Bandit ships our packages with NZ Couriers (NZ) and DHL (AUS). We have found these companies to be the most cost effective and efficient.

NZ Couriers aim for 1-2 day urban delivery and 3-5 day rural delivery. DHL aims for 2-3 day delivery.

If you have a problem with your item arriving, but you can see the tracking details as being active, we recommend you contact NZ Couriers with the tracking number you have been sent. They work independently from us, so we can not control their service (even though we would like to!) However please get in touch if your parcel does not arrive and we will organise a refund or replacement.

New Zealand

  • We offer a free tracked courier service with Post Haste within New Zealand.

Australia

  • We offer a tracked courier service with DHL throughout Australia for $25.

Rest of World

  • We have a Europe site, www.vapebandit.uk that services Europe. If you are from a country not listed on this site, or our site, please get in contact at info@vapebandit.co.nz and we will try to organise shipping for you.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@vapebandit.co.nz.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@vapebandit.co.nz and send your item to:Vape Bandit Ltd, Unit B5, 1066 Great South Road, Mt Wellington, Auckland, 1060. If the product is damaged due to poor customer care, we reserve the right to reject the exchange. If the product is damaged due to a quality issue, we may refund you the shipping cost and send a replacement free of charge.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach us may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Please remember that once the packages have left Vape Bandit, all control over delivery times is held with couriers and we do not accept any liability for costs associated with delivery delays.

Keeping track of the package and following up with the courier company regarding delays or redeliveries are in the hands of the customer. Unfortunately we get a lot of orders and do not have the time to check up on the courier companies delivery of each and every package.
